We are currently hiring a Cost Accountant to join our accounting team.
Job Description The Cost Accountant will provide support to Wynalda's accounting department, including the accounts payable desk, general ledger accounting, cost accounting, sales tax, and account reconciliation.
Job Duties:
Develop and analyze standard costs of manufactured goods Maintain annual Labor and Overhead Rates Review Daily WIP reports for accuracy Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies Analyze and report customer profit margins Be responsible for accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions Uphold quality historical records by filing documents Produce financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information File state sales tax returns Assist Controller with various projects and data entry as needed
Qualifications:
2-4 years' experience within an accounting related role preferred.
Practical knowledge of accounting procedures and principles Accuracy and attention to detail Experience filing sales tax (preferred) Computer literacy, MS Excel in particular (familiarity with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables) Strong time management skills Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information Job Type:
